To be closer to family, Mr. Harper, and his two children, BB and DJ, will return home to Tennessee in late summer. As Mr. Harper has sustained an injury, he is unable to work. This has caused extreme financial strain on the family. Your contributions and prayers are most appreciated right now.

David's Story
On July 19, 2009 four-year-old David "DJ" Harper was rescued from a burning vehicle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A video of the heroic rescue was seen by millions of people throughout the world. His rescue brought out the best in a community. DJ has endured nearly a year of painful rehabilitation. Thankfully, he attended school much of the past year and is returning to a normal childhood. The emotional wounds from the accident may remain with him for many years. While the Harper Family has been so touched by the generosity of their adopted hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mr. Harper feels it is time to return to Tennessee to be closer to family. An illness prevents him from working right now. He hopes to secure enough funds to move his family back home within the next few months. Click here to help. |
